Mayonnaise Biscuits??


Easiest Ever Mayonnaise Biscuits/Muffins
(I actually halved the recipe for only 6 biscuits/muffins. The muffins in the left plate were my first try this morning from a recipe that called for too much salt. Just doing "kitchen chemistry" this morning!!  ;))))

Serves: 12 biscuits/muffins
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a medium size bowl.
  3. Add the mayo and milk and stir until a soft dough forms.
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons full of dough into greased muffin tin.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes.

    1. Even no salt ( or a pinch) is an option. I used 0% milk. You can use "light mayo." Experiment with 1/2 the recipe, like I did. I will make these again, but I still like my 7-up biscuits the best. Linda

  7. Oh, yum! These sound delicious. My friend makes chocolate cake with mayonnaise, I make baked chicken with mayonnaise, so why not biscuits, too? Thanks!
