How Old Is Santa Claus? (And other discoveries on our Christmas stroll.)

You know you are in America when you see this "nativity" scene on a front lawn.


And this tableau proves a couple of things that have been disputed recently on cable tv.



One question: Is this pink car for a large doll or a very small child?

And one of many hydrants "watered" on Flip's Christmas stroll.

      My hub said I was supposed to explain the "nativity" scene, but I thought the photo spoke for itself. Christmas Hugs, Linda

    that is one bizarre nativity scene…must have muddled the local kids! Can't get over the pink car either. Interesting walk! Hope you're having a lovely break x

      Actually, I wonder how many kids or adults even noticed Santa and baby Jesus together. Wonder if this was not a "tongue in cheek" nativity scene? We are back home to reality and ready for a new year. Linda

      In most instances I don't even go out in search for "different" finds. They just materialize before my camera. I am having fun being a photographer. ;) Linda

    I think it speaks for itself....

    Personally I leave Santa out of our decorations as I think Christmas is confused enough without adding a mythical demi-god-like figure to the mix! One God (made flesh) is enough for me. :)
